Zaba's Mexican Grill is in the process of becoming a franchise operation. When designing their latest locations, owners Robert Terkhorn and Doug Bolle wanted restaurant flooring that was not only beautiful but also easy to maintain. Working with their Centiva Consultant in Las Vegas, they were introduced to the design potential and durability of Centiva. Robert and Doug selected Harvest Pecan, one of the Good Ole Woods from the Event Series. Its rustic appearance and richness of color was just the answer to enhance their stone interior walls. They completed their restaurant flooring design by adding their restaurant logo at the entrance, done in Antique Nut.

They then selected C-Tech in the Iron Graphite color for their restroom flooring. This gave them the metallic stainless look throughout the entire area. Robert and Doug love the ease of maintenance of their Centiva floor. Robert states, “Daily mopping is all it takes. The restaurant floor always looks great and doesn't show crumbs or scuff marks. Centiva is quieter than the stained concrete that many restaurants utilize, and we will never be bothered with down time to re-stain using toxic chemical processes.” Zaba's has just installed Centiva in their newest restaurant location opening soon, and they plan to use this product in the four additional locations. Robert brings their color palate and finish samples for each restaurant to the Centiva Consultant's showroom. They then sit together and lay out the selection of Centiva woods to determine the ones that will work best. Their consultant then orders full sized samples of the ones they like the most. Robert says, “It is great to be able to live with the selections so that we can make just the right choice for us. We want to create a warm homey feel to our restaurants, and the Centiva woods offer just that. Many of our customers think we use real wood and are surprised to find out that Centiva can offer such realistic products that do not have that shiny plastic look.”
